We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Freight Broker to join our team and help grow our customer and carrier network.

Role Overview

As a Senior Freight Broker, you will manage the full freight brokerage cycle, from finding new shippers and negotiating rates to booking carriers and making sure every load is delivered on time. The role needs a confident, results-driven skilled with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the US logistics market.

Key Responsibilities

- Find and win new shipper customers through cold calling, emails and networking
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shippers and carriers
- Negotiate competitive rates with customers and carriers to maximise margins
- Source, vet and book reliable carriers using load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
- Track and manage shipments from pickup to delivery, and keep customers updated in real time
- Handle delays, claims and service issues quickly and professionally
- Make sure carriers are compliant (MC/DOT authority, insurance, safety ratings)
- Keep load details and paperwork accurate in the TMS/CRM
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue,



margin and load targets
- Mentor and support junior brokers and the dispatch team when needed

Requirements
- [3+] years of experience as a Freight Broker or in US logistics sales
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written, with confidence on calls with US clients
- Strong confidence and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals under pressure
- Good knowledge of US freight: FTL, LTL, dry van, reefer and flatbed
- Hands-on experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and TMS software
- Understanding of carrier compliance, rate confirmations and BOLs
- A proven record of meeting sales and revenue targets
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle several loads at once
- Comfortable working night shifts on a fixed basis
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mohali / Chandigarh Tricity

Preferred Qualifications
- An existing book of business or a network of shippers and carriers
- Experience with CRM tools and Google Sheets / MS Excel
- A graduate degree in any field
