About the Role

We are launching a new premium athleisure and lifestyle apparel brand in India and are looking for a creative, trend-driven Fashion Designer with experience in brand development.

The ideal candidate should be able to translate inspiration images, mood boards, and creative concepts into original, commercially viable apparel collections while helping establish a distinctive brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Apparel Design & Product Development

- Develop original athleisure and lifestyle apparel designs based on inspiration and creative direction provided by management.
- Create sketches, technical drawings, detailed tech packs, and production-ready designs.
- Design T-shirts, joggers, hoodies, sweatshirts, shorts, co-ord sets, and other athleisure products.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colors, fits, silhouettes, and trims.
- Coordinate with factories and sampling teams from concept to final product.

Brand Development & Creative Direction

- Help establish a strong, recognizable brand identity and design language.
- Develop cohesive collections aligned with the brand's positioning.
- Contribute to brand aesthetics, product presentation, packaging concepts, and visual identity.
- Research international fashion brands and identify trends relevant to the Indian market.





Trend Research & Collection Planning

- Research global athleisure, activewear, and lifestyle fashion trends.
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, seasonal concepts, and collection themes.
- Identify commercially attractive designs suited to the target customer.
- Maintain design consistency across all product categories.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in fashion design, preferably with an athleisure, activewear, premium lifestyle, or D2C fashion brand.
- Previous experience in brand development or launching a fashion label is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fits, and production processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and technical design.
- Ability to translate inspiration images into original, production-ready apparel designs.
- Strong creative vision, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or another recognized institute preferred.
