Role Description The Senior Executive – Cutting Department is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This position oversees the cutting operations within the textile manufacturing process, ensuring that fabric is cut accurately according to specifications, production plans, and quality standards. The role involves planning and scheduling cutting activities, monitoring material utilization, coordinating with production, quality, and maintenance teams, and ensuring that targets and timelines are met.

The Senior

Executive is responsible for supervising cutting staff, maintaining safety and compliance in the department,



and implementing process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. The role also includes reporting on daily production metrics, addressing operational issues, and supporting audits and inspections related to cutting operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, especially fabric cutting, lay planning, and material utilization.
- Experience in production planning, workflow management, and coordination between cutting, stitching, and finishing departments.
- Proficiency in using cutting machines and related equipment; familiarity with automated cutting technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to lead and supervise shop-floor teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and maintain safe working practices.
- Solid understanding of quality standards for home textiles, with a focus on defect prevention and adherence to specifications.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and layouts.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and reporting to senior management.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Production, or a related discipline; relevant experience in cutting operations within textile or apparel manufacturing preferred.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and production reporting tools; exposure to ERP or manufacturing systems is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety, sustainability practices, and continuous improvement aligned with company standards.
