Kanan is looking for a Senior Content Editor to join our SOP Department in Vadodara. We need someone with strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills who can maintain content quality while managing daily workflows and guiding team members.

This role focuses on reviewing Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and other student application documents, ensuring that content is accurate, personalized, well-structured, and aligned with each student's academic background and future goals.

Significant: This is a full-time, work-from-office position at our Vadodara office. Candidates must currently reside in Vadodara, Gujarat, and be willing to work from the office. This is not a remote or work-from-home opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and proofread SOPs for grammar, sentence structure, clarity, accuracy, and overall content quality.
- Evaluate the relevance, personalization, logical flow, and effectiveness of each SOP.
- Ensure the student's academic background, motivation, career goals, and course or university selection are presented clearly.
- Identify factual inconsistencies, repetitive content, weak explanations, and errors that need correction.
- Manage daily task allocation, monitor work progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Guide SOP writers through feedback and help improve their writing quality.
- Monitor team productivity, turnaround times, pending assignments, and quality standards.




- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve queries and maintain smooth workflow.
- Improve proofreading guidelines and quality-control processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent command of written English, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction.
- Strong proofreading, editing, and content evaluation skills.
- Ability to assess writing for clarity, relevance, personalization, and logical structure.
- Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- A responsible, detail-oriented approach to work and the ability to guide team members.

Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) writing and editing
- Academic content writing
- University admission essays and student application documents
- Proofreading, editing, or quality control
- Education-related content

Candidates with relevant academic writing and editing experience who are ready to take responsibility for content quality and team workflow are encouraged to apply. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
