Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and finalisation of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and trial balances.
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, payments, and timely statutory filings.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and general ledger scrutiny.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, outstanding payments, and collection follow-ups.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.




- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and other financial reports for management.
- Monitor expenses, verify bills, and ensure proper accounting controls.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and other accounting-related activities as required.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Experience in finalisation of accounts and ledger scrutiny.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com is mandatory.
- CA Inter candidates may also apply.
- Candidates with relevant professional accounting qualifications and practical experience will be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably with hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting operations, taxation, reconciliations, and finalisation of accounts. Prior experience of working in a digital advertising agency will be preferable.
