Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant in Nagpur with strong practical knowledge of accounting, GST compliance, TDS filing, and statutory taxation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST returns, reconciliation, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ledger maintenance, and financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle annual GST returns, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, as applicable.
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase registers and verify Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Calculate TDS, manage deductions and payments, and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and general ledgers.
- Prepare GST and TDS workings and maintain statutory compliance records.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial closing.
- Support internal and external audits and prepare relevant documentation.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and accurate maintenance of accounting records.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other departments regarding financial matters.

Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.




- Knowledge of GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC verification.
- Hands-on experience in TDS calculation and return filing.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.

Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Additional accounting or taxation certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

Relevant experience in accounting, GST compliance, taxation, and TDS filing is preferred.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on qualifications, practical knowledge, and experience.
