Role Summary

We are looking for a Security Analyst L1 to support security monitoring, threat detection, alert triage, and initial incident investigation. The candidate will monitor security events, identify suspicious activities, and escalate potential incidents to senior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security alerts.
- Investigate suspicious activities and potential security incidents.
- Analyze logs to identify indicators of compromise.
- Escalate confirmed or complex incidents to L2/L3 analysts.
- Create and update incident tickets using ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Follow established incident response procedures.
- Maintain incident documentation and shift handover reports.
- Collaborate with security teams to improve monitoring effectiveness.





Mandatory Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in SOC or security operations.
- Basic knowledge of SIEM tools.
- Understanding of security alerts, log analysis, and incident triage.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and common attack types.
- Basic understanding of EDR/XDR tools.
- Valuable analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Sentinel.
- Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Microsoft Defender or CrowdStrike.
- ServiceNow.
- Threat intelligence fundamentals.
