Job Summary

We are looking for a Safety Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in construction projects and a good understanding of workplace safety measures. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, identifying workplace hazards, conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards to maintain a safe working setting.

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures and HSE guidelines.

· Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.

· Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by workers and contractors.

· Monitor safety during work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, hot work and electrical activities.

· Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness training for workers and subcontractors.

· Prepare and verify Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments and work permits, as applicable.

· Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, and maintain safety records.

· Ensure proper housekeeping, emergency preparedness, fire safety and availability of first-aid facilities.

· Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and project management to resolve safety issues.





· Maintain safety inspection reports, incident registers, training records and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety or a relevant technical discipline.

· 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction site safety.

· Good knowledge of construction safety measures, hazard identification, risk assessment and accident prevention.

· Understanding of PPE, fire safety, work permits and emergency response procedures.

· Good communication, observation, reporting and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidates

· Candidates with practical experience in construction site safety management.

· Candidates familiar with HSE documentation, toolbox talks and safety audits.

· Candidates with relevant safety certifications and knowledge of applicable statutory safety requirements.

· Candidates available to join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.

Job Location

Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The candidate must be willing to work at the construction project site.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
