Role & responsibilities

- Lead the development and optimization of EPDM rubber formulations for various applications (automotive, construction, seals, gaskets, etc.).

- Supervise mixing, compounding, and curing processes of EPDM rubber.

- Ensure product quality meets internal specifications and customer requirements.

- Troubleshoot production issues related to EPDM compounds and recommend corrective actions.

- Work closely with production, QA/QC, and R&D; teams for continuous improvement.

- Manage raw material selection, evaluation, and cost optimization.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Maintain technical documentation, formulations, and process records.

- Support new product development and customer trials.

- Train and guide production staff on EPDM processing techniques.





Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

- 510 years of experience in EPDM rubber compounding and processing.

- Strong knowledge of rubber mixing (internal mixer, open mill), curing systems, and additives.

- Hands-on experience with rubber processing machinery.

- Expertise in EPDM formulations for automotive/weatherstrip applications.

- Knowledge of extrusion and molding processes.

- Problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Leadership and team management ability.

- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
