About Digital Lending:

The Digital Lending department focuses on the complete digital experience of Loans business of the bank. The Bank offers a wide range of Loans to the customers’ specific needs and the Digital Lending business offers the complete loans process without human intervention and is responsible for driving growth in the Loan book for the Bank.

About the Role:

The Group Product Lead is responsible for designing innovative financial products for digital lending and also to plan and manage all lending products - define qualification criteria, credit appraisal rules along with the data science team

Key Responsibilities:

- Decide pricing to ensure a viable P and L for all products
- Ensure digital journey of consumer lending products covers all information required for regulatory, KYC, underwriting, and monitoring purposes
- Responsible for the overall planning, flow design, function design and product optimization
- Implement product life cycle management, develop product competitiveness and make profit continuously while cut down the cost




- Responsible for recent business exploration and model/product building

Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

- MBA or equivalent
- Extensive experience in designing and managing lending products, familiarity with nuances of lending through digital medium is a plus
- Experience with successful financial product design, expert knowledge in finance, adept at statistics collection and analysis, financial product planning, product risk management and internal bank regulations

- Be proactive and careful while working, be good at communication and collaboration
- Knowledgeable about financial product design process at Axis Bank - approvals required etc.
