About Us

Maya Marine & Logistics is a marine services company working in shipbuilding, ship repair, towage and offshore support. We are hiring experienced Riggers for our shipyard project at Pipavav.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and inspect rigging gear (wire ropes, slings, shackles, chain blocks, D-shackles, turnbuckles) before every lift

- Estimate load weight and select the right rigging method and equipment

- Rig, lift, shift and position heavy items – blocks, pipes, machinery, steel plates and outfitting material

- Give clear hand signals to crane operators (EOT, mobile and gantry cranes)

- Assist in block erection, alignment and launching/docking activities

- Work at height, on scaffolding and inside tanks/confined spaces with proper safety gear





- Follow lifting plans, permit-to-work and shipyard HSE rules strictly

- Report damaged or unsafe gear and incidents to the supervisor

- Coordinate with fitters, welders and crane operators for smooth work

Requirements

- 2–5 years' experience as a Rigger in a shipyard, ship repair, offshore, port or heavy fabrication site

- Positive knowledge of slinging methods, hand signals and safe lifting practices

- Rigging/slinging certificate or ITI preferred (not mandatory for strong experience)

- Physically fit and comfortable working at height and in confined spaces

- Ready to work in shifts and on overtime when required

- Hindi or Gujarati speaking
