Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, maintain service quality, and ensure excellent guest satisfaction. The candidate will be responsible for supervising restaurant activities, managing inventory, controlling operational costs, handling customer complaints, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.

- Oversee food and beverage service, dining arrangements, and guest experiences.

- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff, including captains, stewards, and service associates.

- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels.

- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

- Coordinate with kitchen staff and chefs to ensure timely food preparation and service.

- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and food quality standards.

- Manage table reservations, guest seating arrangements, and peak-hour operations.

- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and procurement requirements.

- Control food costs, wastage, and operational expenses.

- Monitor daily sales, billing, cash handling, and revenue reports.

- Achieve monthly sales targets and improve restaurant profitability.

- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance and shift schedules.

- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and restaurant policies.

- Plan promotional activities, special events, and customer engagement initiatives.

- Maintain coordination with vendors, suppliers, and management.

- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly operational performance reports.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

- Experience in staff management, guest handling, and restaurant administration.

- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, billing, and inventory management.

- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

- Robust problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage busy restaurant operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in fine-dining restaurants, casual dining restaurants, hotels, or premium hospitality establishments.

- Strong knowledge of restaurant service procedures and guest relationship management.

- Ability to manage teams and maintain high service standards.

- Experience in sales monitoring, cost control, and revenue improvement.

- Professional, disciplined, punctual, and customer-oriented.

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
