Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Restaurant Captain to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, and coordinate with the service team to deliver a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the service team to ensure productive restaurant operations.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
- Take food and beverage orders, make menu recommendations, and address guest queries.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Ensure food and beverages are served accurately and on time.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance, and adherence to service standards.




- Assist with staff training and guide team members on service procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operating standards.
- Support billing, cash handling, and shift closing procedures, wherever required.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, preferably in a Captain or Senior Steward role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant etiquette.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks during busy service hours.
- Professional grooming, a positive attitude, and a customer-first approach.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on public holidays.
