RC Coordinator Job Profile – Maruti Suzuki

At Maruti Suzuki, RC Coordinator generally refers to a Registration Certificate (RC) Coordinator who manages vehicle registration and related documentation for new vehicles through dealerships, RTOs, and customers.

Key job responsibilities

- Vehicle registration: Coordinate registration of recent vehicles with the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
- Documentation: Verify invoices, insurance details, customer KYC documents, Form 20, Form 21, Form 22 and other required registration papers.
- RC follow-up: Track registration status and ensure the Smart Card RC or digital RC is issued to the customer.
- Dealer coordination: Coordinate with the sales team, accounts team, vehicle logistics team and RTO agents.
- Data entry: Update vehicle registration details in dealer systems, Excel sheets or other internal software.
- Customer support: Resolve delays, documentation errors and customer queries related to vehicle registration.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure registration work follows applicable RTO rules and company procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare daily or monthly reports on pending registrations, completed RCs and delayed cases.





Special role in Maruti Suzuki True Value If the position is in Maruti Suzuki True Value (used-car division), RC Coordinator may primarily handle ownership transfer from the seller to the buyer, rather than only new-car registration. Responsibilities can include RTO follow-ups, transfer documents, status tracking and ensuring the RC reaches the customer.

Skills and qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline may be preferred; requirements vary by dealership.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and computer data entry.
- Knowledge of RTO procedures and vehicle ownership transfer.
- Good communication, customer handling and follow-up skills.
- Accuracy in documentation and ability to manage pending cases.

Daily work and performance targets
- Check pending RC and ownership-transfer cases.
- Verify customer and vehicle documents.
- Follow up with the RTO and concerned dealership departments.
- Update the Dealer Management System (DMS) and maintain reports.
- Minimize document errors and delays in RC delivery.
