1. Job Purpose To ensure product quality at all stages, from incoming raw material inspection to in-process and final inspection, while managing supplier quality, controlling nonconforming products, resolving quality issues, and maintaining compliance with customer requirements and IATF 16949 requirements.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

A. In-house Quality Control

- Inspect incoming raw materials, bought-out components, and outsourced components as per approved inspection plans.
- Verify material grades, dimensions, visual condition, Mill Test Certificates (MTCs), and lot traceability.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of CNC-machined components as per customer drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, GD&T;, and surface finish requirements.
- Operate measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, plug gauges, and other applicable instruments.
- Prepare and maintain dimensional inspection reports, first-piece inspection reports, and final inspection records.
- Ensure inspection is conducted at the defined frequency and according to the approved control plan.
- Verify product conformity against the latest approved customer drawings and specifications.
- Identify, segregate, label, and control rejected or nonconforming materials and components.
- Monitor internal rejection, rework, scrap, and process defects and maintain relevant records.
- Coordinate with Production to investigate dimensional deviations, machining defects, tool wear, and process-related quality issues.
- Verify corrective actions taken for internal quality problems and monitor recurrence.
- Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and calibration status is valid before use.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure their availability and traceability for audits.
- Verify product identification, handling, preservation,



and traceability throughout manufacturing and dispatch.

B. Supplier Quality Management

- Evaluate and monitor suppliers of raw materials, CNC-machined components, heat treatment, plating, grinding, and other outsourced processes.
- Verify supplier inspection reports, Mill Test Certificates, heat treatment certificates, plating reports, and other applicable quality documents.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and coordinate supplier self-assessment audits as per the approved audit plan.
- Maintain supplier evaluation records, supplier performance ratings, and the Approved Supplier List in coordination with Purchase.
- Monitor supplier rejection rates, supplier PPM, delivery-related quality issues, and repeat nonconformities.
- Raise Supplier Non-Conformance Reports (SCARs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers using 5 Why, fishbone analysis, 8D, or other appropriate methods.
- Verify the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions and ensure recurring defects are prevented.
- Ensure supplier materials and outsourced components meet approved drawings, specifications, purchase order requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
- Support current supplier qualification and supplier process approval in coordination with Purchase and Management.
- Monitor special-process suppliers, including heat treatment and plating vendors, for compliance with applicable technical and customer requirements.
- Coordinate containment, sorting, replacement, and disposition of rejected supplier material.
- Maintain supplier rejection records, audit reports, corrective action reports, and supplier quality performance data.
- Conduct supplier visits when required to resolve quality problems and improve process capability.
- Communicate quality requirements and approved drawing revisions to suppliers through authorized channels.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
