Job Summary

BSH Agritech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Quality Chemist to ensure the quality, consistency and compliance of agricultural chemical products, including pesticides and agrochemical formulations. The candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, maintaining quality records, and ensuring that products meet prescribed quality standards and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct quality testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished agrochemical formulations.
- Perform physical and chemical tests such as pH, specific gravity, viscosity, moisture content, active ingredient assay and other product-specific parameters.
- Ensure that all products meet approved specifications, quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packing materials and verify quality against approved specifications and supplier certificates of analysis (COAs).
- Monitor quality during manufacturing and packing processes and report any deviations or non-conformities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration and follow standard testing procedures.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory test reports, batch analysis records, COAs and quality documentation.
- Identify quality issues, investigate their root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




- Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse and regulatory teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper storage, handling and labelling of laboratory chemicals, samples and retained samples.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, good laboratory practices (GLP) and applicable company SOPs.
- Assist in product stability studies, complaint investigations, quality audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure rejected or non-conforming materials are properly identified, documented and segregated.

Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance in agrochemical, pesticide or chemical manufacturing is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant chemistry qualifications and practical laboratory knowledge may also apply.
- Knowledge of analytical instruments, chemical testing methods and laboratory safety procedures.
- Familiarity with agrochemical formulations and applicable quality and regulatory standards will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
