Key responsibilities Product quality and release Plan and oversee sampling and testing of crude oil, naphtha, LPG, MS (petrol), HSD (diesel), ATF, kerosene, fuel oil, bitumen and petrochemical streams. Certify product batches against BIS, BS-VI and customer specifications before tank release and dispatch. Flag off-spec or borderline results to Operations and Planning at once, and agree corrective action such as blending changes, re-processing or downgrade. Monitor blending recipes and give-away, so products meet specification without excess quality margin. Laboratory operations Run day-to-day lab work: analyst allocation, sample turnaround, instrument uptime and consumables. Maintain calibration, verification and preventive maintenance schedules for analytical instruments. Run proficiency testing, inter-laboratory comparisons and control charts to keep results accurate and repeatable. Quality systems and compliance Maintain the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL) accreditation and support internal and external audits.



Keep test methods, SOPs and records current and controlled; close audit findings on time. Prepare statutory and corporate quality reports, and handle customer quality complaints and retained-sample reviews.

Process support Analyse trends in unit and product data to find quality drifts early, and support root-cause analysis with Operations. Support trials of new crude blends, catalysts, additives and process changes with test plans and data review. Take part in HAZOP, MOC and incident reviews where quality or sampling is involved. Train and coach junior chemists, analysts and shift engineers on methods and quality awareness.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
