Essential duties and responsibilities

· Overseeing Clinical and Service Quality monitors across the hospital

· Conduct internal and external audits as per the quality calendar and provides appropriate feedback to the departments by having management meetings.

· Monitoring and tracking of all quality indicators for each department and provides appropriate feedback to concerned departments.

· Co-ordinating in implementation of continuous quality improvement projects and clinical audits, so as to systematically evaluate and meet patient care needs

· Revision of policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with the departmental HODs as and when required

· Analysis of incident reports using proper RCA tools and to plan action for the incidents.

· Achieving, sustaining NABH, JCI and other accreditations

· Monitoring and regulating committee meetings and minutes to be circulated to concerned members

· Represent the department in committee meetings of the hospital.

· Ensure the overall activities related to quality of the hospital to meet the requirement of quality management,



health & safety and legal stipulations

· Design, develops and implements the quality plan strategies that ensure effective and effective utilization of the department resources

· Discuss the findings of the daily rounds done with the management

· Conducting patient safety awareness programs

· Regularly updating and incorporating new guidelines in organization based on evidence-based practices, new literature on quality improvement.

· Ensuring of quality assurance programme across the organization.

· Verification and validation of quality indicators formulated.

· Training of HCW’s on continuous quality improvement aspect.
