Job Summary Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical Coding, Auditing, or Denial Management. Strong knowledge of EM, Surgery Coding, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and NCCI edits. Experience in coding audits and denial analysis preferred. CPC/CCS/COC/CIC certification preferred. Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

- Audit denied claims to identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and denial root causes.
- Review EM and Surgery coding for accuracy and compliance.
- Validate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze denial trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide feedback, training,



and quality improvement support to coding teams.
- Maintain audit reports, denial trackers, and MIS.
- Collaborate with coding, denial management, and operations teams to reduce denials.

Requirements
