About the Role

Jital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA & QC Manager to lead Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), food safety, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance at our facility in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to finished product dispatch. This role requires strong expertise in food/feed quality systems, laboratory testing, audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Assurance (QA)

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FSSAI, BIS, and other applicable standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and quality records.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformities, deviations, and root cause analysis.
- Evaluate and approve suppliers and vendors and coordinate supplier audits.

2. Quality Control (QC) & Laboratory Management

- Supervise quality testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Oversee proximate analysis, including moisture, protein, fat, fibre, ash, and other relevant quality parameters.
- Monitor microbiological, mycotoxin, pesticide residue, heavy metal,



and adulterant testing.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment.
- Establish sampling plans, maintain retention samples, and manage batch release decisions.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and manage product hold and release procedures.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Traceability

- Maintain applicable licences, registrations, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure product labelling, packaging, and claims comply with applicable regulations.
- Implement product traceability and mock recall systems.
- Investigate customer complaints and coordinate timely corrective actions and closure.

4. Team Management & Continuous Improvement

- Lead, train, and evaluate QA/QC personnel.
- Conduct food safety, hygiene, and GMP training for plant employees.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, R&D;, and Dispatch teams to maintain quality standards.
- Prepare quality MIS reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, laboratory efficiency, audit performance, and customer satisfaction.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Animal Nutrition; or
- B.Tech in Food Technology.

Required Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC).
- At least 3–4 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Previous experience in the food and/or feed manufacturing industry is mandatory.

Preferred Certification





- HACCP certification.
- ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor certification.
