Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, price negotiations, and timely delivery of materials. The candidate should have good negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities as per project and departmental requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements for price and quality evaluation.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.
- Coordinate with project, store, accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth material procurement.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, purchase orders, and other documentation.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality specifications and company standards.




- Verify invoices and delivery documents in coordination with the stores and accounts teams.
- Support vendor performance evaluation and maintain professional supplier relationships.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline; a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement will be preferred.

Required Skills
- Solid negotiation and cost-analysis skills.
- Good vendor management and supplier coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, and comparative statements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of electrical, engineering, industrial, or project-related materials will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in the engineering, electrical, infrastructure, or project industry.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- A result-oriented approach with a focus on cost control, quality, and timely delivery.
