Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, ensure timely material availability, and maintain purchase documentation to support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Handle domestic and import purchase activities, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
- Source new suppliers, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, bought-out components, spare parts, and other required items.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding price, quality, delivery, and service.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and suppliers for import shipments, documentation, shipment tracking, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production Planning (PPC), Quality,



Accounts, and other departments for material receipt and payment processing.
- Follow up on material shortages, delayed deliveries, and discrepancies in supplied materials.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain records of pending orders and supplier commitments.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and supplier development activities.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of purchase and procurement processes.
- Experience in supplier coordination, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Knowledge of inventory, material planning, and vendor management.
- Basic understanding of import documentation and logistics will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
- Valuable communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or machine-tool industries.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and ensure timely material availability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
