About DIVA Projects

DIVA Projects is engaged in civil construction and infrastructure development, including pipeline, residential, commercial, industrial, and warehousing projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to support procurement operations and ensure the timely availability of materials across our project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for civil construction and pipeline projects.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and vendors and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders based on approved BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Source construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, pipes, fittings, and other project-related items.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Verify quotations, quantities, rates, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, order registers, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team regarding vendor invoices, payment status, and reconciliations.




- Monitor material prices and support cost-control initiatives through effective vendor negotiations.
- Ensure that procured materials meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare regular procurement updates and pending-order reports for management.

Candidate Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in the civil construction industry.
- Working knowledge of civil construction materials, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in pipeline, residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Good negotiation, vendor coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Knowledge of Tally or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Robust organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple purchase requirements.

Compensation Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience and capabilities.
