Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering

Location: Avadi, Chennai, Tamilnadu

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Proposal Engineer to prepare technical and commercial proposals for Siemens-based industrial solutions. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, preparing cost estimations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of accurate proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer RFQs, tenders, and technical specifications.

Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals based on customer requirements.

Develop cost estimations, BOM (Bill of Materials), and pricing calculations.

Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams for proposal preparation.

Select suitable Siemens products and solutions based on application requirements.

Prepare technical documentation, compliance statements, and quotations.





Support sales teams during customer discussions and negotiations.

Review tender documents and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Maintain proposal records and track submission status.

Provide technical clarification and support during pre-sales activities.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Siemens products such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Switchgear, Automation systems, and Electrical components.

Strong understanding of industrial automation and electrical systems.

Positive knowledge of AutoCAD / EPLAN (added advantage).

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial automation, panel manufacturing, electrical projects, or system integration industries.

Experience handling Siemens-based solutions and tender proposals will be an added advantage.
