re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer specializing in the finishing phases of high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the entire finishing lifecycle—from post-structural blockwork to final handover—ensuring that all interior and exterior finishes meet stringent quality standards, architectural specifications, and strict project timelines. You will coordinate with sub-contractors, architects, MEP teams, and quality control inspectors to deliver a flawless final product.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

- Direct and oversee all finishing works for high-rise towers, including masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, marble/granite flooring, false ceilings, painting, carpentry, and facade installation.
- Ensure structural readiness before initiating finishing sequences and coordinate seamlessly with MEP teams for the precise installation and concealment of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC fixtures.
- Monitor daily site progress against the master construction schedule, identifying bottlenecks in high-rise logistics (e.g., material hoisting, men-and-material hoist scheduling) and implementing immediate corrective actions.

Quality Control & Compliance

- Enforce rigorous quality control measures, ensuring all finishing materials and workmanship strictly adhere to approved mock-ups, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and architectural specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify line, level, and plumb of structural finishes.
- Manage the comprehensive snagging and de-snagging process, ensuring zero-defect handovers to the facility management or client handover teams.

Resource & Material Management

- Calculate accurate material estimations, prepare indent requests, and monitor material consumption to minimize wastage and reconcile quantities.




- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely delivery of finishing materials (tiles, paints, fixtures, wood, glass) to align with the execution schedule.
- Oversee the allocation of labor and sub-contractor teams across multiple floors to maximize productivity.

Coordination & Safety

- Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with sub-contractors, design consultants, and internal teams to resolve site queries and design clashes.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on site, specifically regarding working at heights, scaffolding safety, and chemical/paint handling during the finishing stages.
- Maintain accurate daily progress reports (DPR), quality checklists, and handover documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of direct experience in construction execution, with at least 3+ years specifically dedicated to managing the finishing phase of high-rise residential or commercial buildings (20+ floors).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern finishing materials, application techniques, and quality tolerances. Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and MEP drawings.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and standard MS Office applications.
