Responsible for performing advanced image-guided minimally invasive procedures, managing complex clinical cases, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervising research activities, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection, and contributing to departmental administration, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary patient care.

Role & responsibilities

- Perform and supervise image-guided minimally invasive procedures using ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, and angiography.
- Manage vascular and non-vascular interventions, including angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, drainage, and tumor ablation.
- Evaluate patients, obtain informed consent, and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
- Teach and train undergraduate students, postgraduate residents, and fellows.
- Conduct clinical research, publish scientific papers, and guide postgraduate dissertations.
- Ensure patient safety, radiation protection, infection control, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Manage departmental activities, develop clinical protocols, and maintain high standards of academic and clinical excellence.
