About Gearlinc:

Gearlinc is a specialized manufacturing company producing high-precision industrial gear boxes. We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to manage our shop floor operations, focusing on precision machining, gear hobbing, and high-end grinding processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- End-to-End Gear Shaft Production: Oversee the complete manufacturing lifecycle of gear shafts and gears—from raw material cutting, CNC turning, gear hobbing, heat treatment coordination, to Hofler CNC gear grinding and final assembly.
- Shop Floor & Machine Management: Supervise daily shop floor activities, manage operators, and ensure maximum utilization of Hobbing machines, CNC lathes, VMCs, and Hofler grinding machines with minimum downtime.
- Process & Tooling Optimization: Monitor machining parameters, optimize cycle times, reduce material wastage, and manage cutting tools/hobs efficiently.
- Quality & Gear Inspection:



Ensure strict adherence to precision tolerances, gear parameters (tooth profile, lead, runout), and perform root-cause analysis for any machining defects.
- Maintenance & Breakdown Coordination: Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting of CNC and gear-cutting machinery.
- Safety & 5S Compliance: Implement 5S and Lean manufacturing standards, ensuring a safe and organized shop floor setting.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain production logs, track daily output, machine efficiency, and labor performance reports for management.

Requirements & Skills:

- Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on shop floor experience in a gear manufacturing, automotive transmission, or heavy precision engineering plant.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
