Production - API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Department

Experience: 1-5 Years

Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Tech (Chemical/Chemistry)

Role & Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor API manufacturing processes as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Handle chemical reactions, distillation, filtration, centrifugation, drying, and other API production activities.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, safety, and quality standards during manufacturing.
- Perform equipment operation, cleaning, and line clearance activities.
- Monitor process parameters and report deviations, incidents, and abnormalities.
- Maintain production documentation accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, and EHS teams for smooth production operations.
- Support process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Data Integrity and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in shift operations and achieve production targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical/Chemistry.




- 1-5 years of experience in API/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
- Good understanding of API production processes and shop-floor operations.
- Knowledge of GMP, cGMP, EHS, SOPs, and documentation practices.
- Exposure to reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other process equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and cross-functional teams.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
