Innovation Lead Cross-Border Remittance & Exchange House Operations

Role Purpose - Lead the Innovation team in conceptualizing, developing, launching, and enhancing innovative products and solutions for Cross-Border Remittance and Exchange House Operations. The role will drive product innovation, identify opportunities for process and technology improvements, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and customer-centric solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead the Innovation team in building new products and enhancing existing products related to Cross-Border Remittance and Exchange House Operations.

- Identify market trends, customer needs, business opportunities, and emerging technologies to develop innovative product propositions.

• Drive the end-to-end product innovation lifecycle, from ideation and business case development through implementation and continuous enhancement.
- Work closely with Business, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Analyse existing remittance and FX processes to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, cost reduction, and improved customer experience.

• Provide domain expertise on cross-border payments, remittance flows, foreign exchange transactions, and exchange house operations. • Evaluate new technologies, platforms, partnerships, and fintech solutions that can enhance the organization's cross-border payments capabilities.
- Define product requirements, functional specifications, priorities, and success metrics in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.




- Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots, and experimentation initiatives to validate new ideas and solutions.
- Monitor product performance and market developments and recommend enhancements based on data, customer feedback, and business outcomes.
- Ensure that new products and enhancements align with applicable regulatory, compliance, risk, security, and operational requirements.
- Mentor and guide the Innovation team, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Present product concepts, business cases, progress, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile Education & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Additional qualifications in Product Management, FinTech, Payments, Finance, or Business Management would be an advantage.

Professional Experience

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in product development, innovation, payments, fintech, banking, financial services, or a related domain.
- Experience in Cross-Border Remittance, International Payments, FX Transactions, or Exchange House Operations is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering technology-enabled products or business solutions.
