Role & responsibilities

- 1015 years of relevant experience in procurement and sourcing within project-based engineering or equipment manufacturing industries.

- Hands-on experience in sourcing electrical and mechanical components, equipment, and bought-out items from domestic and international vendors.

- Solid knowledge of global sourcing, import procedures, shipping documentation, freight coordination, and customs clearance.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and manage a procurement team of 8 or more members.

- Expertise in supplier negotiations, vendor development, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing.

- Experience in managing procurement activities in line with project requirements, budgets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers.

Preferred candidate profile

- Sound understanding of purchase order management, procurement planning, and supplier delivery performance.

- Experience in the industrial automation sector or automation equipment manufacturing will be an added advantage.

- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
