About the Role

As a Presales Designer - AV, you will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical, feasible AV solutions - covering corporate and institutional clients. You'll own the technical design process from concept to BOQ, including site surveys, system schematics, and costing, while coordinating with vendors and technical teams to ensure what's designed can actually be delivered.

What You Will Do

1. Understand customer requirements and develop suitable Audio-Visual solutions.
2. Prepare AV system designs, layouts, wiring diagrams, and signal flow drawings.
3. Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ), product specifications, and basic project costing.
4. Support the sales team with technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer discussions.
5. Use AutoCAD, Visio,



or similar tools to create AV design drawings and system schematics.
6. Coordinate with sales teams, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate and feasible solution design.
7. Conduct client site surveys to inform accurate solution design.

What We're Looking For

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in AV presales, solution design, or system integration (this is mandatory, not optional).
2. Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related technical field - candidates without a formal degree but with solid relevant experience will also be considered.
3. Working understanding of AV solutions including Video Conferencing, Digital Signage, Public Address, and AV Control Systems, ideally within corporate or institutional environments.
4. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar AV design tools.
5. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
6. Willingness to travel locally for client site surveys as part of the design process.
7. AVIXA CTS/CTS-D certification or familiarity with brand platforms like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, or Logitech is a plus, though not mandatory.
