Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Tamil Nadu, India. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and modify PLC programs for machinery and automation systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.

Day-to-day tasks include configuring control systems, commissioning and testing equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC-related issues, and optimizing logic for performance and safety. The role involves collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, preparing documentation for control systems, and supporting maintenance and production teams in resolving automation problems. The PLC Programmer may also assist in upgrades, retrofits, and integration of new machinery into existing production lines.

Qualifications





- Strong skills in PLC programming and configuration (e.g., ladder logic, function block, structured text) and experience with common industrial PLC platforms.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation, including sensors, actuators, HMIs, and SCADA interfaces.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining machinery and automation equipment in an industrial environment.
- Understanding of safety standards and best practices in industrial automation and machinery operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex control issues under time constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and maintenance).
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in machinery or textile-related industries in India is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in office, adapt to production schedules, and provide support during installations and critical operations.
