Role & responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Finance

- Own end-to-end plant finance and accounts, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, material consumption, labour, utilities and production variances.
- Prepare and analyse plant MIS, cost statements, profitability analysis.
- Drive standard costing, product costing, BOM/routing cost validation and periodic cost updates.
- Support annual operating plan, budgets, forecasts and rolling forecasts for the plant.
- Monitor capital expenditure, project expenditure, asset creation, capitalization and depreciation.
- Control plant working capital through monitoring of inventory, payables, receivables
- Support procurement and stores with financial evaluation of purchase decisions, inventory controls.
- Ensure proper accounting of production, consumption, inventory movements, scrap and by-products.

2. SAP S/4HANA Finance

- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Review material valuation, inventory accounting, standard/actual costing.
- Ensure master-data accuracy for cost centres, GL accounts, profit centres, relevant finance parameters.
- Use SAP reports and analytical tools for plant MIS, variance analysis, inventory and cost monitoring.




- Coordinate with SAP/IT teams for process improvements, issue resolution, controls.

3. Education & Experience

- M.Com / MBA (finance) is preferred. Candidates with robust plant-finance experience and relevant finance qualifications may be considered.
- Experience preferably with significant exposure to manufacturing plant finance.
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience is essential
- Experience in costing, budgeting, MIS, inventory accounting, audits and manufacturing is preferred.
