Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Piping Engineer to handle piping design, engineering, layout development, material specifications, stress analysis coordination, and technical support for oil and gas projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable international codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review piping layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;), and piping isometric drawings.
- Prepare piping general arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, and piping plans.
- Perform piping material selection, line sizing coordination, and preparation of piping material specifications.
- Review piping stress analysis reports and coordinate with stress engineers.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and other applicable industry codes and standards.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, instrumentation, and procurement teams.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and piping material requisitions.
- Support piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Resolve site technical queries and engineering design issues.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality procedures, and project schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and verify piping installation against approved drawings and specifications.
- Support hydrotesting,



flushing, reinstatement, and preparation of as-built drawings.

Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of piping design, layout, and engineering practices.
- Understanding of P&IDs;, isometric drawings, and piping GA drawings.
- Knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings, flanges, and piping components.
- Familiarity with piping stress analysis and flexibility concepts.
- Knowledge of piping fabrication, welding, inspection, and testing.
- Understanding of piping codes, including ASME B31.3 and applicable API standards.

Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- AVEVA E3D / PDMS
- Smart 3D (S3D)
- Navisworks
- CAESAR II (for stress engineering-related roles)

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, or EPC projects.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
