Role Description The Piping Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna.

The Piping

Engineer will design and review piping systems, prepare layout drawings, and ensure alignment with project specifications and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include performing technical calculations, coordinating with mechanical and civil teams, reviewing isometric drawings and material specifications, and supporting installation and commissioning activities at the project site. The role involves conducting stress analysis reviews, troubleshooting piping-related issues during construction,



and ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.

The Piping

Engineer will also assist in preparing documentation, reports, and technical clarifications for clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Piping Design and Piping system layout for industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Pipe selection, material specifications, and related technical standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Calculations and Stress Analysis to evaluate piping flexibility, loads, and supports.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Piping construction, installation practices, and site coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2D/3D piping tools) is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to piping (e.g., ASME, ANSI) is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs;, with valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
