SiliconMinds Technologies is looking for passionate and technically skilled candidates for the position of Physical Design (PD) Trainer. Freshers with strong VLSI fundamentals and experienced Physical Design Engineers interested in training and mentoring aspiring VLSI professionals are welcome to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on VLSI fundamentals and the complete ASIC design flow.
- Teach Physical Design concepts, including floorplanning, power planning, placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), and routing.
- Explain Static Timing Analysis (STA), setup and hold timing, and timing closure.
- Train students in timing constraints, SDC, and basic TCL scripting.
- Explain signal integrity, crosstalk, IR drop, electromigration, and power optimization.
- Introduce physical verification concepts, including Design Rule Checking (DRC).
- Provide hands-on training using industry-standard EDA tools, preferably Cadence or Synopsys.
- Guide students through practical labs, assignments, and industry-oriented projects.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, and technical assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide technical guidance.




- Keep training content aligned with current semiconductor industry practices.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of VLSI fundamentals and ASIC design flow.
- Knowledge of floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.
- Understanding of Static Timing Analysis (STA) and timing constraints.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands and TCL scripting.
- Familiarity with Cadence or Synopsys Physical Design tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of power, signal integrity, and physical verification concepts.
- Positive communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers: Candidates with strong Physical Design fundamentals and completed VLSI training can apply.
- Experienced Candidates: Physical Design Engineers with hands-on experience in PnR, STA, timing closure, and EDA tools are encouraged to apply.
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Candidates should be willing to work full-time in Visakhapatnam.
