Role & responsibilities

Design and layout high density printed circuit boards (PCBs)

- Design multilayer stackups
- Place high density and high quantity of components
- Design Power / Ground planes
- Focus on design for EM requirement
- Create and verify schematics
- Generate and maintain BOMs and fabrication documentation
- Create and verify component decals
- Maintain standards compliance
- Anticipate, identify, and solve problems independently
- Preferred candidate profile

Proficient software knowledge of OrCAD and Altium,

- Understanding of basic electronics, signal integrity, EMI/EMC concepts, Antennas, Power dissipation, IC Packages.
- Perform placement of components and route the signals accordingly.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, SMT lines and soldering methods like Re flow soldering, wave soldering,

Selective soldering etc.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical concepts and constraints, valuable coordination with mechanical Engineer designing the outer

packaging of the PCB.
