Role Description The Owner role at Firstsource in Chennai is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for overseeing end-to-end business operations within a designated portfolio or business unit. This role involves setting strategic direction, defining performance goals, and ensuring operational excellence in alignment with the company’s “Intelligence That Operates” vision.

The Owner will oversee financial performance, resource allocation, and risk management, while fostering a cooperative, agent-first culture and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing operational metrics, guiding senior managers, making data-driven decisions, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. The role also requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and representing the business unit in internal and external forums.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership experience in operations, business management, or P&L; ownership within services or technology-driven organizations.




- Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable operational plans.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and client relationship-building, particularly with enterprise or global accounts.
- Experience in process optimization, performance management, and data-driven operational governance, ideally in healthcare, BFSI, or other regulated industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, intelligent operations, or business process management platforms is beneficial.
