Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: Performance-Based Honorarium (Up to ₹4,000)

About Bharat Innovation Utsav

Bharat Innovation Utsav is a premier national summit celebrating innovation, grassroots problem-solving, and student entrepreneurship. Hosted under the aegis of the Design Innovation Centre (DIC), IIT (BHU) & BHU in execution with Know Your Careers, the summit brings together young innovators, school and college founders, angel investors, venture capitalists, and academic leaders from across India.

The grand conclave will take place at the iconic Swatantrata Bhawan, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in December 2026.

Role Overview

As an Outreach & PR Intern, you will drive communication, partner mobilization, and institutional engagement for Bharat Innovation Utsav '26. You will serve as the primary liaison between the organizing committee and educators, regional schools, higher education institutions, and startup ecosystems—ensuring maximum participation, strong delegation attendance, and vibrant engagement at the conclave.

Key Responsibilities

- Educator & Faculty Outreach: Connect with teachers, school coordinators, and academic mentors across regional networks to invite and onboard them for specialized conclave sessions and professional engagements.
- Regional School Delegation Outreach: Engage school principals, administrators,



and activity coordinators across Eastern Uttar Pradesh and neighboring regions to facilitate student delegation visits, project showcases, and on-ground attendance.
- Higher Education & Startup Expo Mobilization: Reach out to colleges, universities, student E-Cells, incubation centers, and innovation hubs across India to invite student and early-stage founders to exhibit and pitch at the Bharat Innovation Utsav Startup Expo.
- Campaign & Community Coordination: Maintain consistent communication via email, phone, and messaging platforms with registered delegates and participants for seamless onboarding, travel coordination, and logistical updates.
- On-Ground Event Support: Assist the central organizing committee during event days in December at Swatantrata Bhawan with delegate management, help desk operations, exhibitor coordination, and real-time updates.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outreach calls, interest forms, and confirmed delegations in designated shared trackers.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Education: Current college students or recent graduates with strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- Outreach Aptitude:



Confident in making outbound professional calls and pitching summit participation to school authorities, faculty, and student founders.
- Relevant Interest/Experience: Prior experience or strong interest in Public Relations (PR), institutional partnerships, outreach, event management, or campus ambassador roles is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for remote/hybrid work and physically present at Swatantrata Bhawan, BHU Campus, Varanasi during the event in December 2026.
- Technical Setup: Access to a working laptop, smartphone, and secure internet connection.
