GK Energy Limited is seeking a dynamic, process-driven, and experienced Operations Manager to spearhead our solar project execution, site operations, and O&M; (Operation & Maintenance) verticals. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end field operations, ensuring seamless project deployment, maximizing plant generation efficiency (Performance Ratio), and maintaining strict safety compliance across our utility, rooftop, and solar pumping installations. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Project & Site Operations Management:
- Managing day-to-day field operations, construction, erection, and commissioning of solar and renewable energy projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in adherence to high engineering and quality standards.
- O&M; (Operation & Maintenance) & Performance:
- Overseeing centralized and site-level O&M; activities, preventive maintenance schedules, and breakdown resolutions for solar assets.
- Monitoring plant generation data via SCADA/monitoring tools to minimize downtime, reduce losses,



and optimize energy yield.
- Safety, Quality & Statutory Compliance (EHS):
- Enforcing strict Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols across all project sites and regional offices to ensure zero-accident operations.
- Ensuring 100% compliance with DISCOM regulations, grid codes, electrical safety acts, and local statutory norms.
- Vendor, Inventory & Resource Coordination:
- Collaborating closely with Procurement (SCM), Supply Chain, and Engineering teams for timely material delivery and spare parts availability.
- Managing local contractors, site teams, and technical workforces efficiently.
- MIS & Operational Performance Tracking:
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), OEE, project milestones, and preparing daily/monthly MIS reports for senior management.
- Implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize operational costs and resource utilization.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy) [MBA in Operations is a strong plus].

- Experience:
- 6 to 14 years of core operational experience in the Renewable Energy, Solar Power, Power Generation, or Infrastructure sector.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a managerial role handling independent site operations, project execution, or plant O&M.;
- Technical & Functional Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of solar PV systems, grid synchronization, electrical equipment (Inverters, Transformers, Switchyards), and safety standards.
- Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and project management tools.
- Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving, crisis-management, and decision-making skills under tight site deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to handle multi-site teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
