? We’re Hiring: Technical Lead, OpenWRT & Embedded Linux

[Company Name] is looking for a Technical Lead to own board bring-up, kernel and BSP work, and a growing embedded team.

? Location: Gurgaon | Hyderabad | Chennai | Bangalore

? Experience: 5–12 years

? Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering

What you’ll do

✅ Bring up OpenWRT on Qualcomm SoCs (or similar mobile-domain chipsets)

✅ Integrate and configure U-Boot or other bootloaders

✅ Develop and port drivers for SoC peripherals: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART

✅ Customize and optimize the Linux kernel and device trees for specific chipsets and board variants

✅ Integrate Wi-Fi drivers ( ath11k, QCA drivers ) and ensure the wireless subsystem works end to end

✅ Enable networking features under OpenWRT: IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, NAT, firewall, QoS





✅ Lead and mentor the team, and keep the OpenWRT environment stable and fully functional on target hardware

What we’re looking for

? 5–8 years in Embedded Linux or Android platform and kernel driver development

? Hands-on OpenWRT experience

? Bootloader and kernel porting on ARM-based SoCs

? Experience with Qualcomm SDKs and BSPs (e.g., QSDK) and proprietary firmware blobs

? Good knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking protocols on Linux

? Robust C , shell scripting and build/compilation environment skills
