Job Overview

Sant Nirankari Enterprises is urgently hiring an experienced Ointment Manufacturing Operator for its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at SIDCUL, Haridwar.

The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in ointment manufacturing, preferably in a pharmaceutical production facility. The candidate should understand manufacturing procedures, equipment operation, batch documentation, hygiene requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out ointment manufacturing activities according to approved manufacturing instructions, maintaining production records, operating assigned equipment, and ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor ointment manufacturing equipment according to approved procedures.
- Carry out manufacturing activities such as material charging, mixing, heating, cooling, homogenization, and product transfer, as applicable to the assigned process.
- Follow approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production instructions.
- Monitor manufacturing parameters such as temperature, mixing time, speed, and other process requirements specified in the batch instructions.
- Ensure correct identification, handling,



and traceability of raw materials and in-process materials.
- Maintain accurate batch records, equipment logs, cleaning records, and other production documentation.
- Perform equipment cleaning and line clearance according to approved procedures.
- Follow GMP requirements and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the manufacturing area.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) teams during manufacturing activities.
- Report process deviations, equipment abnormalities, and other production-related issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and transfer of bulk ointment to the next processing stage.
- Minimise material wastage and support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Follow safety instructions and use the required personal protective equipment.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical ointment manufacturing.
- Practical experience operating ointment manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material handling, and equipment cleaning.
- Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, batch documentation, and production hygiene requirements.
- Ability to follow manufacturing instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Good attention to detail, discipline, teamwork, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant ITI, diploma,



or other technical qualification, subject to company requirements.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility producing ointments, creams, gels, or similar semisolid dosage forms.
- Familiarity with manufacturing vessels, mixers, homogenizers, and related equipment, where applicable.
- Understanding of line clearance, cleaning procedures, and contamination prevention.

Salary and Employment Details Salary: ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, technical skills, and suitability for the role.
