About the role software engineers to build / enhance AI Led test automation tool, used by teams to test web and mobile applications.

This is a development role in the testing and QA space. We are looking for strong coders who also understand software testing and AI Led development well.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance and maintain features of a test automation tool.

- Build backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, or Node.js.

- Automate testing of web and mobile (Android and iOS) applications.

- Integrate with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium and cloud device platforms like BrowserStack.

- Deploy, run and maintain the tool using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews.

- Work closely with QA and development teams to understand their needs.

- Use AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code in VS Code) to work faster, while keeping quality and cost in check.

Must-have skills

- 6 – 8 years of hands-on software development experience.

- Strong coding skills in Node.js / Python

- Experience building and using REST APIs.

- Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar).

- Hands-on experience with Docker: writing Dockerfiles,



building images and running applications in containers.

- Good understanding of DevOps basics: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar), Git, environment configuration, deployments, logs and monitoring.

- Comfortable working on Linux servers and with the command line.

- Valuable understanding of object-oriented design and common design patterns.

- Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar) in day-to-day work.

Good to have (Not mandatory)

- Mobile test automation with Appium (Android and iOS).

- Good understanding of software testing and QA concepts: test types, test design, test cases and defect handling.

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.

- Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or similar device and browser clouds.

- BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (Gherkin).

- Frontend experience with React.

- Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).

- Experience building internal tools or developer platforms.

Soft skills

- Clear communication, comfortable working directly with stakeholders.

- Ownership and a problem-solving mindset.

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
