Program Coordinator – Student & Education Engagement - NGO

Working Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Overview

We're looking for a dependable, people-first Program Coordinator to be the link between our students, education team, and management. You will understand the needs and queries of each group, resolve them promptly, and keep our education programs running smoothly. Because our programs run around students' schedules, this role requires flexibility beyond standard office hours.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement

- Be the first point of contact for students, listening to their queries, concerns, and needs, and resolving or escalating them promptly
- Check in regularly with students to track attendance, participation, and wellbeing

Education Team Coordination

- Coordinate with teachers and the education team on timetables, session logistics, materials, and student feedback
- Pass on student needs and learning challenges to teachers, and follow up on actions taken
- Support the planning and smooth execution of classes, workshops, and special sessions





Management Liaison & Reporting

- Communicate program needs, feedback, and issues to management clearly and on time
- Maintain accurate records of student data and queries
- Prepare regular reports and updates on program progress and student outcomes

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline (education, social work, or psychology background is a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in coordination, student support, or the education/NGO sector (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Empathetic, patient, and approachable, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Robust organisational and follow-up skills; able to handle multiple stakeholders at once
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Working knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace
- Commitment to the NGO's mission and strict confidentiality around student information
