SanatanSevaSetu is hiring a Mobile App Developer to build and ship our Android and iOS app, using a hybrid framework or native development.

About SanatanSevaSetu

SanatanSevaSetu is a multi-temple devotional platform where people can book pujas, make chadhava offerings, consult astrologers, receive prasad at home and follow the daily panchang. We are building the mobile app that connects devotees to temples, and you will own it from first screen to store release.

- Role: Mobile App Developer (Android & iOS)
- Location: Work from office, Goregaon (East), Mumbai
- Engagement: 1-year contract with a 3-month probation period

Key responsibilities You will build, release and maintain the SanatanSevaSetu app on both Android and iOS.
- Build the app from Figma designs into smooth, responsive screens that work across phone sizes and OS versions.
- Develop the core user flows: discovery, synopsis(details page) and booking, payments, user functions and trigger functionalities, and backend api driven states.
- Integrate the app with our REST APIs, including login, payments, push notifications and deep links.
- Manage app state, offline behaviour and local storage, and handle errors and slow networks gracefully.
- Keep the app fast and stable: monitor crashes and performance, and fix issues quickly.
- Publish and update the app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including builds, signing and release notes.
- Write clean, reusable, tested code, and document the app's structure and key decisions.
- Work with the backend, design and product teams, and take part in code reviews.
- Create documentation of the system you are working on.

Required skills We are open to a hybrid or a native approach, so you need strong skills in one of the two tracks below and a good grasp of mobile fundamentals.

What we look for

Hybrid

Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript), with at least one app published on both stores

Native





Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS, with at least one app published on the relevant store For either track, you also need:
- Hands-on experience building mobile apps and tackling real app development challenges (2+ years is a guide, not a limit). You understand state management, components, API integration and some level of release management.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, handling authentication and working with JSON.
- State management (for example Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, Redux, or MVVM) and clean app architecture.
- Experience with push notifications, deep links and in-app payment gateways such as Razorpay.
- Turning Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive screens.
- Git and a code review workflow, plus debugging and profiling tools.
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Good to have, and data-handling expectations
- Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging) or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps, such as Fastlane, Codemagic or GitHub Actions.
- Experience building apps for a large Indian user base, including regional languages (Hindi and English).
- Experience with live video or streaming, maps and location, or e-commerce style flows.
- Familiarity with app performance work: startup time, image loading and battery use.

The app handles user, booking and payment data, so we expect you to treat that data carefully. You will be asked to follow our confidentiality and data-security terms, including keeping keys and credentials out of the code, not copying user data to personal devices, and reporting any suspected data leak within 24 hours.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract role, not permanent employment.
