Business Insight & Analysis

- Analyse operational, customer, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
- Proactively investigate issues and provide evidence-based solutions rather than simply reporting outcomes.
- Support operational teams by identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Interpret data within the wider business context and explain the "so what?" behind the numbers.

Reporting & Data Management

- Develop, maintain, and enhance management information reports and dashboards.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks.
- Simplify and optimise existing reporting processes where possible.

Automation & Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation.
- Develop and maintain solutions using:





Advanced Excel

Power Query

VBA

Power Automate

Microsoft Forms

SharePoint

- Support the implementation of automated reporting and workflow solutions.
- Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

Technical Skills

Essential

- Advanced Excel including:

Pivot Tables

Power Query

Data Modelling

Complex Formula Development

- Experience working with large datasets.
- Power Automate.
- VBA and Excel Automation.
- SharePoint and Microsoft Forms integration.
- Solid understanding of reporting and data validation processes.

Desirable

- Looker, Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
- SQL
- Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or ChatGPT
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.
