: Discount Executive

Role Overview The Discount Executive supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of discounting programs. You will work with data every day to make sure discounts are configured correctly, performing as expected, and delivering efficient returns. The role suits someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and keen to make processes faster, cleaner, and more scalable.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, configure, and track discount campaigns and offers across cohorts, cities, and merchants as per the plan

- Pull, clean, and analyze data using SQL to monitor discount performance, spend, and efficiency

- Build and maintain Excel and Google Sheets trackers, dashboards, and reports for daily and weekly reviews

- Run quality checks on discount setups and spends to catch errors, leakages, and anomalies early

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (category, operations, product, finance, marketing) to execute discount initiatives on time





- Prepare explicit summaries of performance and insights for stakeholders

- Document processes and SOPs, and keep them current

- Identify manual or repetitive work and automate or simplify it to improve accuracy and turnaround time

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Good working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic, data validation, and large-data handling)

- Hands-on experience with SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, window functions) for querying and analyzing data

- Hands-on experience with Google Sheets (formulas, collaborative trackers, and basic automation)

- Strong grasp of business processes, with the ability to see how each step connects to the outcome

- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

- Clear written and verbal communication
