Role & responsibilities

- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and safety conditions in the microbiology lab.
- Maintain adequate inventory of media and consumables.
- Perform sampling of RM, FG, CIP, in-process, environmental swabs, hand swabs, and water as per SOP.
- Conduct microbiological analysis of RM, FG, CIP, in-process samples, environmental monitoring, and purified water.
- Perform environmental monitoring (EM) including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
- Ensure proper microbiological waste disposal as per regulatory standards.
- Maintain all lab documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
- Conduct personal hygiene and plant hygiene audits on a routine basis.
- Perform qualification and validation activities related to lab and plant.
- Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.

Preferred candidate profile Qualification: M. Sc. (Microbiologist)
