Role Description The MEP BIM Engineer role at The BIM Engineers is a full-time, in office position based in Gurugram. The person in this role will develop and manage detailed BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring coordination with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating construction drawings, performing clash detection and resolving coordination issues, and supporting design review and design development activities.

The MEP BIM Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers,



design engineers, and BIM coordinators, follow established BIM standards and workflows, and contribute to accurate quantity take-offs and documentation. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement of BIM processes, maintaining quality and compliance with project requirements, and meeting deadlines for international and domestic projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, coordination, and clash detection.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems design and coordination within BIM environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings for MEP and related building services.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and Civil Engineering principles as they relate to integrated building design.
- Relevant experience with BIM software (such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools) and familiarity with international standards and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience on global projects or exposure to international clients and delivery models is beneficial.
