Job Summary

Vighnaharta Super Speciality Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Mediclaim and Billing Executive to manage hospital billing, health insurance documentation, cashless pre-authorisation, claim processing, and coordination with insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).

Key Responsibilities

- Handle IPD, ICU, and other hospital billing activities accurately.
- Prepare admission estimates, interim bills, and final discharge bills.
- Verify patient insurance details, policy coverage, and eligibility.
- Process cashless pre-authorisation and enhancement requests.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for approvals and claim settlements.
- Collect and verify required medical documents for claim submission.
- Follow up on pending claims, insurance queries, deductions, and rejections.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, pharmacy, accounts, and reception.
- Explain billing details, insurance deductions, and patient-payable amounts.
- Maintain accurate billing records and insurance claim reports.




- Ensure timely submission of claims and proper documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.

Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital billing, mediclaim, or insurance coordination preferred.
- Knowledge of cashless insurance, reimbursement claims, and TPA processes.
- Familiarity with hospital management software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication, numerical, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
